Using old school methods, the bagels are made with no-additives flours, mixed and shaped the night before. The next day they are boiled in malted water, seeded or left plain and baked upside down for the first few minutes then flipped over and baked till golden brown. These methods, make for a flavorful and round bagel. Don't be fooled by bakers that just over steam their ovens and call their steamed bread - bagels. Those steamed breads will never get the shiny, malted, chewy crust that only a boiled bagel will have.

To our customers with mobility issues:. We have a marked handicap parking spot located in rear parking area. Best access is via our rear cafe entry door for anyone using a mobility device. Both front and rear customer entry doors are extra wide for entry/exit with mobility devices. We offer ADA compliant counter access, tables and bathroom. If you need assistance ask any of our staff for help.. For help with phone in pickup orders please inform our phone staff you need assistance when pickup up your order. We can arrange to bring your order out to you car. If your are in our store we have a service button in front of our espresso machine wall. Press that button will flag our staff for your order pickup or you need further assistance in our store. We are here to help make your visit be a Townie Day.

SERVICE ANIMALS ARE WELCOME INSIDE
When it is not obvious what service an animal provides, only limited inquiries are allowed. Staff may ask two questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability, and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform. Staff cannot ask about the person’s disability, require medical documentation, require a special identification card or training documentation for the dog, or ask that the dog demonstrate its ability to perform the work or task.
Asking Someone to Remove Their Service Animal
A business or state/local government can ask someone to remove their service animal
if:
-The dog is not housebroken inside store.
-The dog is out of control, and the person cannot get the dog under control.
We will only ask the animal and owner/handler to remove animal from store. Their group may stay inside store.
We will offer assistance for person with animal at anytime if not service animal with two go ordering..
Difference between emotional support animals and service animals
If the dog’s mere presence provides comfort, it is not a service animal under the ADA. But if the dog is trained to perform a task related to a person’s disability, it is a service animal under the ADA. For example, if the dog has been trained to sense that an anxiety attack is about to happen and take a specific action to help avoid the attack or lessen its impact, the dog is a service animal.
